How to choose and replace the grinding tools of CNC Honing Machines
When choosing the grinding tool for the CNC Honing Machine, you should first look at the processing material. For processing materials with high hardness such as cast iron and steel, you should use grinding tools with high hardness and good wear resistance; for processing soft materials such as aluminum and copper, you can choose relatively soft grinding tools to prevent scratching the surface of the workpiece. The particle size of the grinding tool is also critical. If you want to process a high surface finish, choose a grinding tool with fine particle size; if you need to remove materials quickly, a coarse-grained grinding tool is more suitable.
When replacing the grinding tool of the CNC Honing Machine, first turn off the power of the equipment and wait for the spindle to stop rotating completely. Use special tools to loosen the parts that fix the grinding tool, carefully remove the old grinding tool, and check whether there are any debris or wear on the installation part. Before installing the new grinding tool, clean the installation surface to ensure that it is clean and flat, then put the new grinding tool into the installation position correctly, and tighten it with the tool according to the specified force. After installation, manually turn the spindle to check whether the grinding tool is installed firmly and whether there is eccentricity. After confirming that there is no problem, start the equipment for processing.
